What is The Missions Course?

Discover Your God-Given Mission

Formatted as a six-week study, The Missions Course reveals God’s heart for the nations and invites believers to join him in his plan for redemption. It introduces Christians to the mission that God has given them and invites them to take a speaking role in His global story.

Whether you are a new believer or a seminary graduate, you will be able to understand and apply each lesson. Our goal is for you to know God’s mission and be able to make it your own.

Course Outline

Lesson 1

The Thread

From Genesis to Revelation, we discuss God’s purpose to see His glory praised, through Jesus, among the nations

Lesson 2

Acts & The Great Commission

We unpack the launch of the church in the book of Acts as God’s method to equip the saints, and send them into the world

Lesson 3

Missionaries to Know

We explore stories of five modern missionaries that every Christian needs to know about: Hudson Taylor, Amy Carmichael, William Carey, etc.

Lesson 4

The Unfinished Task

We reveal the unfinished task of world evangelization in clear detail

Lesson 5

Church Planting

We hear the story of a missionary who planted a healthy church, and learn about the principles of church planting

Your Role

We discuss what it means to be a global Christian, and the next steps each of us can take
